CZM Genius Scholarship 2022
Center for Zakat Management officially ran its Journey on 14th September of 2008. It is a pro-poor social enterprise, aiming at promoting the obligation of Zakat ordained by Allah SWT as an economic tool for bringing prosperity to the needy.
It provides management services for proper distribution of Zakat all over Bangladesh. This group also works for the poor and brilliant students and provides the scholarship. It’s called a genius scholarship.
CZM SCHOLARSHIP started in 2010. Every year they conduct their scholarship activities and the number of students receiving scholarships also grows every year.
Objectives
The program aims to support the undergraduate meritorious underprivileged students for their smooth academic accomplishment and career building process.

Deserving students are selected considering their financial capacity and other risk factors. Providing financial assistance according to their needs and conducting different career building courses and counseling sessions.
Activities
Providing monthly stipends during the first two years in the undergraduate level, conducting different career building courses and counseling sessions. In addition, with a view to motivating them for social service, they are involved in CZM’s livelihood & human development programs and other activities as per their ability and interest.

The Center for Zakat Management has been implementing the Genius Scholarship Program since 2010 with the aim of assisting indigent students in their zakat-related educational activities.

Every year, the first year of admission in all public universities and government medical colleges across the country invites applications from newly enrolled students whose families are unable to afford education. The Genius Scholarship Circular is published between February and March every year (may be earlier or later).
The first two years of graduation provide a monthly stipend of BDT. 3,000, conduct various career building courses and conduct counseling sessions.
The circular is being delayed due to corona this year. The circular can be found on the official website (https://czm-bd.org/genius-scholarship/) of the Genius Scholarship Program – Center for Zakat Management.

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- First you have to download the application form from online and fill it by hand. You have to go to this link (link not be published) and fill in the information. Then send the completed hard copy by courier to the address of CZM mentioned in the upper right side before the last date. No application form will be considered for evaluation after the due date. The hard copy of the application must be printed out and filled out beautifully.
- In order to complete the application process easily and accurately, the concerned students are specially advised to collect all the information before filling up the original application form and fill up a rough hard copy form at home. Then go to the original hard copy and online link and send it correctly.

- Students who are financially well-off or receiving scholarships from any other institution/ institution (other than government/ board scholarships) are not required to apply. Only newly admitted students in the first year of graduation in 2020-21 session can apply.
- In case of application, photocopy of pay-in-slip for first year admission of the university, photocopy of transcript of SSC and HSC and subsequent documents required by CZM must be submitted in time.
- The hard copy form of the applicant must have photo, comments, signature and seal of the Institute/ Head of Department/ Academic Supervisor. On the other hand the application will not be accepted.

- Only initially selected applicants will be notified via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number for interview.

- There is no financial transaction in the application process of CZM’s Genius Scholarship. Therefore, all concerned were warned not to be deceived by the SMS/ communication sent from any number other than the mobile number and land phone number prescribed by the above mentioned authority.
- The user concerned will be responsible for the sensitivity of all the information and images provided in the submitted application form.
- CZM will inform you via SMS within 10 to 15 days after receiving the application form. However, a request is being made not to make any phone call or SMS to the effect that the application has not been received.

PRIMARY RESULTS OF CZM Genius SCHOLARSHIP 2022
Preliminary selection results are published within one to two months (maybe more or less) from the date of application completion. The CZM Scholarship will be given to the mobile number mentioned in the application form.
Viva / Oral Examination: Viva is called for after the initial selection. You have to appear in the Viva along with the circular or the required documents mentioned in the application form along with the hard copy of the application form.
