Scholarships are given every year by various Zilla Parishads to the students who pass the SSC and HSC examinations. Candidates who have successfully passed the SSC and HSC examinations are invited to apply for scholarships subject to conditions. List of District Council Scholarship

Within the period mentioned in the circular, the application form has to be filled and

the necessary documents have to be submitted to the Zilla Parishad office.

Eduguideline will provide detailed information on how to apply for scholarship in various district councils.

Education scholarship notification: It is hereby informed for the information of all

that Barguna Zilla Parishad 2022-2023 budget for the purpose of providing

education scholarships to the permanent residents of Barguna district, poor and meritorious students who have passed

SSC / Dakhil / Equivalent, HSC / in 2022 AD. Alim/equivalent examination passed with credit and currently studying in any

educational institution of Bangladesh, applications are invited from them in the

prescribed form of Zilla Parishad by 25-05-2023 A.D. for providing one-time scholarship subject to the following conditions.

Conditions of Application

Applicants must be permanent residents of Barguna district and regular students

studying in an educational institution approved by the government.

Only those students whose parents’ annual income is less than 3.00 (three lakhs) rupees will be considered eligible to apply.

The application form can be collected free of charge from the office of the

undersigned and the office of all Upazila Nirbahi Officers of Barguna district during office hours. 04: Applicants should have

GPA 5.00 in SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent, HSC/Alim/Equivalent examination held in 2022 AD.

Freedom fighter pets and students with disabilities must have a GPA of 4.00 in all subjects.

For proof of freedom fighter pet, attested photocopy of certificate issued by Ministry of Freedom Fighter Affairs and in case of

disabled, attested photocopy of certificate issued by Directorate of Social Welfare should be submitted.

The applicant has to fill the application form manually.

District Council Scholarship Circular

The following documents attested by the Gazetted Officer (using seal with name) should be submitted/attached with the application form.

(a) In case of SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent/HSC/Alim/Equivalent examination, photocopy of original

certificate and mark sheet and 01 copy of recent passport size color photograph, should be recommended by Head of

Educational Institution/Head of Department.

(b) Attested photocopy of applicant’s birth certificate issued by the competent authority.

(c) Annual income certificate of guardian issued by Municipal Mayor / Chairman of Union Parishad / Head of Office in case of employment.

The application form should be filled in correctly and should be sent directly or by

post to the Barguna Zilla Parishad office with the recommendation of the head of

the educational institution / head of the department by 25-05-2023 AD.

If any wrong or false information is presented by the applicant, legal action will be taken against him including cancellation of education scholarship.
