Sonali Bank Scholarship 2023 powered by Sonali Bank which is one of the largest banks in Bangladesh, provides scholarships as part of its social responsibility.

Considering the importance of education in improving the living standards of inequality, deprivation, poverty and disadvantaged people prevailing among the larger population of the country, Sonali Bank provides education to poor meritorious students, meritorious sons and daughters of indigent freedom fighters and their disabled students.

Scholarship amount one time: 10,000 (ten thousand) Tk
Application Start: 20/12/2023
Application Deadline: 8/01/24
Eligibility for application:
Students who have passed SSC or equivalent examinations in 2022 and are currently studying at HSC or equivalent level can apply.
Students who have passed HSC or equivalent examination in 2022 and are currently studying at undergraduate or equivalent level can apply.
Ordinary students / sons / daughters of freedom fighters studying at HSC or equivalent level should get GPA 5.00 and students with disabilities should get minimum GPA 3.50.
Ordinary students studying undergraduate / equivalent level / sons and daughters of freedom fighters / their sons and daughters should get GPA 5.00 and students with disabilities should get minimum GPA 3.50.
Only poor students / disabled students / sons and daughters of indigent freedom fighters / their sons and daughters (whose father / guardian’s monthly income is not more than Rs. 15,000 / = maximum) can apply.
Sonali Bank Scholarship 2023 necessary Documents:
Initially nominated applicants are required to provide an attested copy of the following documents.
(A) Online Application Form printed by the applicant nominated in the preliminary selection.
(B) the study certificate issued by the head of the educational institution / department head currently studying.
(C) Academic transcripts / certificates.
(D) Certificate of Citizenship.
(E) Certificate of monthly income of the guardian of the student from the Union Parishad / Municipality / City Corporation (must have mentioned the occupation and monthly income of the guardian) and certificate of salary by the head of the concerned office with reference to the working parents’ surname and salary scale.
(F) In the case of sons and daughters of freedom fighters, freedom fighter certificate and in the case of sons and daughters of freedom fighters, certificate of relationship with the candidate by the UP Chairman / Municipal Mayor / City Corporation Ward Councilor as appropriate proof.
(G) Disability Certificate issued by the Department of Social Services / District Social Service Office / Upazila Social Service Office.
Incomplete applications will be considered rejected.
